A (Re)Introduction
If we’ve connected recently, welcome.
If we’ve known each other for years, welcome back.
I realized it was time for a proper reintroduction—not because anything has changed dramatically, but because the through-line of my work has become clearer than ever.
At the center of everything I do is one goal:
Helping people communicate clearly, calmly, and with purpose—especially when the stakes are high.
Here’s how that shows up today.
🎤 Speaker
I speak about calm, clarity, and confidence in digital communication—especially on Zoom and in virtual spaces.
My talks are practical, grounded, and built for people who:
- Don’t want to become performers
- Care about substance more than flash
- Want tools they can use immediately
Whether it’s a keynote, workshop, or training, I focus on helping people show up more fully without pretending to be someone they’re not.
🎥 Virtual Event Producer
I design and produce virtual and hybrid events where the purpose leads—not the platform.
That means:
- Meetings that respect people’s time and attention
- Events that feel human, not transactional
- Technology that supports the message instead of distracting from it
I work behind the scenes with nonprofits, member organizations, and mission-driven teams to make sure their events actually work—for speakers, audiences, and organizers alike.
If you’ve ever thought, “This meeting could have been so much better,” that’s the space I live in.
📻 Weekend Morning Host on Public Radio
On weekend mornings, you’ll find me behind the mic on public radio—bringing context, calm, and care to the news.
That role has sharpened everything else I do:
- How I listen
- How I ask questions
- How I explain complex things simply
Broadcasting is a daily reminder that tone matters, pacing matters, and clarity is a form of service.
The Thread That Connects It All
Whether I’m producing an event, speaking on a stage, hosting a broadcast, or narrating a book, the work is the same at its core:
Creating space for people to be heard—and understood.
This newsletter is an extension of that.
You’ll find insights, observations, and practical ideas about communication, technology, and showing up well in a noisy world.
If any of this resonates, I’m glad you’re here.
And if we haven’t met yet—hello. 👋
